"If a mall was to be built at Ross's Corner, it would probably take me an extra
half hour to get home from work," said Clara Olivo, a resident of Wantage.

The controversy over Ross's Corner has many people wondering what kind of changes are going to be happening in our county within the next few years. Signs declaring "No Mall" adorn most roads through the county.

"I moved here from Essex County to get away from situations like these," said a very angry resident of Frankford. "Five years later, I am finding out there is going to be a mall built not even two miles from my house.

"If a family wanted to live near a mall they certainly would not have moved to Frankford, that's for sure."

Many residents are concerned about the impact of Sussex Commons.

"All Frankford and Branchville have as a police force is the State Trooper station on Route 206," said another Frankford resident.

"How are they going to protect Wantage, Sussex, Frankford, Branchville, and all the other surrounding towns when they have a whole mall to take care of? I guess we will find out if and when the mall is built."
